The Most Important Thing

As much fun as we may have with games and discussions, the most important thing for everyone is to know if you have ever accepted Jesus as your Savior. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, let me explain. Adam, the first man, disobeyed God’s commandment. When he committed this “sin” he became what is known as a sinner. This nature of sin was passed down from the first man Adam to every person who has ever lived since. God did not like this. His options were destroy us all and send us all to Hell like we deserve, or make a way for us to avoid our punishment. Jesus, God’s Son, would be that way. He was sent to live a perfect life and be sacrificed by way of crucifixion (a horrible death) to take our sins upon Himself by shedding His blood. Because He was really God in the flesh, He was the only one Who could conquer those sins forever. He did that Easter morning when he miraculously rose from the dead. Now, if we accept the fact that we were born with the sin nature that Adam passed down to us and that the punishment we deserve is Hell, we can then accept the free gift God gave of His Son Jesus to take the place for our sin. Incredibly, He will then wash away every sin from our past, present, and future and make it possible for us to avoid our punishment in Hell and actually live in Heaven with Almighty God forever. Have you done this? Your decision here will affect how you spend the rest of forever. That’s what makes this the most important thing.
